Christine's Story
Married: John Buchkoski in 1976, divorced in 1977.
Worked at various jobs untill 1984, then made a career choice of cosmetology, went to Riggs LeMar Beauty college, graduated in December of 1986, decided that I hated it and became an instructor at the same school and I loved it. Became registrar/assistant/instructor and whatever else that needed done for 11 years.
Married: Gerald (Jack) Hoback on May 27, 1995. We are celebrating our 13th anniversary in a week (2008).
In 1997, I got burned out and decided to accept a job at Tower City (Cleveland) as manager of Trade Secret Salon, then transfered to Great Lakes Mall (Mentor). Remained with that company for almost 5 yrs. In 2002, I decided to try a different route and became a floating manager for Speedway Gas Stations, which was fun. cided he wanted to go a different way and started driving truck and wanted to move back home. So we bought a small house in Mattoon Illinois in 2003. Mattoon reminds me of Streetsboro in 1975 before the Sea World building boom.
I don't work anymore because I take care of my husband's brother, Russell. He is mentally handicapped and has the capacity of a 5 yr old. Russell loves doing dishes, I have'nt done dishes for 13 yrs. (Boy is that nice!!!!) He also loves Elvis!!!
I don't have any children (Russ is enough). I do have my dogs, Oreo and Hendrix.
My sister Bridget married Bob Weybrecht and they have a wonderful son, Nathaniel and he's my pride. He is a Junior at BGSU, majoring in Sports Reporting and business.
I remain in touch with Julie (May) Sanders, Tessi (Filipowicz) Brutout, Gary and Barbara (Locksa) Bencie and Debbie (Hutzell) Pastor on a regular basis.
