Christine's Story
Like many of my classmates, I went to college--I graduated from SDSU with a B.S degree in Home Economics, Textiles and Clothing with an Art Design emphasis. I spent a summer in Minneapolis, and I worked in Denver and Ft Collins CO. After I met my husband, we went to Oklahoma City where he was raised. Now I'm in Rapid City working in a call center, and for fun I teach lots of knitting classes. My husband made some bad choices and is no longer living with me, so I am figuring out how to live married but single? (Yeah, it's confusing.) My parents still live in Yankton; my Dad makes violins for fun and my Mom researches geneology in her spare time. My life has been challenging, but, like they say, adversity made...Expand for more
me stronger and probably more compassionate and faithful.
I always have creative projects going--I enjoy gardens, nature excursions and painting landscapes with watercolors. I have a happy little dog and cat, and a step son with 4 beautiful children, (who don't live anywhere near me) If you are interested, I have family pictures and lots of knitting stuff on my blog--just go to google and search for FantasyKnitter.blogspot.com. I also like lots of music, and enjoy my church and friends.
What do I want to do when I grow up? Design more knitting patterns and publish some of them, teach more classes, and paint. Of course, I would like to see more of my family and friends, and also travel to beautiful places.
