Christine's Story

Life My life has turned out pretty wonderful. I am married, my last name is Franklin now. My husbands name is Robert.(NO,my Robert is not the one from Dalhart.) We have been together 12 years. I have 2 beautiful children. My daughter, Skylar, is 12 and my son, Dalton, is 8. I have a 15 yr old stepdaughter, Danielle. They are my heart. I took some time off from school when they were born and I'm glad I did. I've been asked if I was given the chance to change anything about my life what would it be? NOTHING. I wouldn't be me if I changed anything. That is what made me who I am today. So why mess with happiness. My husband and I just took in an adorable 3 year old little girl named Amber. She is the sweetest thing. Go figure me taking in a foster child. I want to be as good of a foster parent as I had growing up. School I didn't graduate from Dalh...Expand for more
art but I did live there from 6th grade until I moved to Nacogdoches 2 weeks before my senior year. I only attended Nacogdoches High for our senior year so I am not even sure anyone other than a few select people will even know who I am. I was attending Wayland Baptist University but I just transferred to WTAMU to finish my degree. When I am done I will have my Bachelor in Business Administration/ Masters Professional Accounting. It has taken me long enough to get there but I'm just glad I went back. Workplace Currently I am not working and not looking to work until I have finished school and received my degree. Then it will be a completely different story. The only full time job I need I have---my children. For now I go to school and take care of my children. I am a den leader for my sons cub scout pack. I enjoy it and we have lots of fun.
