Christine's Story
Life
Hmm...how to sum up 25 years in a paragraph or two?
After HS, I attended Penn State and majored in Environmental Resource Management. After my first year, the social consciousness shifted (from Carter to Reagan) and environmental concern was shoved so hard to the back burner that it flew right off the stove. Kids with my major that graduated from Penn State in '80 were no longer finding jobs. The government funding wasn't there anymore. I think it was used for weapons or something.
Disgusted with life in general, I switched majors to Business and took a job in Insurance after graduation. My 80's consisted of leaving for Philly directly after work on a Friday to stay with friends for the weekends. We went clubbing, visited museums and galleries, had Sunday brunch at Astral Plane. When I wasn't in Philly, I was out dancing at the Silo or Hugo's (remember the lighted floor???).
I spent the 90's in love and at parties. Pretty much like everyone else.

edom and recuperating from the Land-of-Make-Believe aka Corporate Management. I DO miss the clothes, but not the pantyhose or the jr-high politics.
Right now, I'm trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up. I still have no idea. It pretty much changes on a daily basis.
My interests range from studying spiritual belief systems, devouring books, painting, writing, meditating, horseback riding...
I dislike mean people and any type of domestic activity.
The things that I remember fondly are: frisbee at lunch, Mrs. Ely's English class, not getting caught, Mrs. Sheetz (you are a wonderful woman - thank you). The rest has been pretty much blocked or destroyed when I killed all those brain cells in the 90's.
People I miss: Cathy Reilly, Wendy Good, Cindy Dunlap,...I hope you all are having the glorious life you deserve. You are all so special. If you see this, please call. I'm in the book (I kept my last name).
The future? I'm about to learn to speak Portuguese in preparation for an up-coming vacation. I'm considering becoming attuned to Reiki. After that, who knows? I'm still trying to figure out who I am.
