Christine's Story
Life
I can't believe it's been almost 29 years since the class of 1979 graduated! Since then, I've graduated from SPU in Math and Music, with a teaching certificate (1984). I got married in '83, moved to Virginia, and taught at TC Williams (of "Remember the Titans" fame). I gave birth to twin boys while living in VA, but when in Seattle on vacation. They were really premie (2 pounds each), but you'd not know it now--they just turned 20! They attend Gonzaga, are both engineering majors, and graduated in '06 from Archbishop Murphy HS.
We moved back to Seattle in 1992 and have been in our current house in Mill Creek since '94. I teach math part time at Kamiak High School, sing in a community choir called Mosaic, attend Northwest Community Chu...Expand for more
rch in Bothell, teach some piano lessons, scrapbook, and am enjoying the "empty nest"! My husband has a non-profit organization, REACT Services, which facilitates collaboration between other groups, mostly non-profits as well. He travels a lot and I've been blessed to able to travel with him occasionally, both on business and vacation trips. We've been to Mexico, Guatemala, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, England, Ireland, South Africa. He's been to many more countries than that!
I've enjoyed getting back in touch with many of my HS friends since moving back to the area. The reunions have been fun and I look forward to the next one in '09! I'm enjoying my journey in life, with God leading the way (don't know how I could do it any other way!)
