Christine's Story

I have lived n the very most South Texas for two years and just got married on July 5th 2008. I love going to the beach and did not stick around for Dolly which hit us head on. My husband recently passed away so I havae been busy and am now moving to South Padre Island to be near friends. I am in Harlingen Texas now and it is really dry down here. ancer and had a double mastectomy. On Dec 28 I fell and crushed the top of the Tibia on my left led. Three years and 7 surgeries I had alot of metal put in and then taken out and a new knee put in. That only lasted 6 weeks and had to have another new knee put in. I "Flat lined " (Doctors words) on the table and came to with a huge tube down my throat. It has been really hard coming back from that but I am getting there. I hope to return to Texas in the future, but right now I am looking forward to the reunion..
