Christine's Story
I come back to Lancaster nearly monthly. Mother is in the Mennonite Home now, and as we all know, aging parents require a lot of love and attention. She is fragile now at 92, but the doctors tell us that her health and lots of exercise has done her justice. She has been a good role model.
I left the auction business at the end of 2007 and started my own business, living in Richmond, VA,
having a grand time, should have done it sooner. Both children are married, and we are so...Expand for more
on to be grand parents. Can't wait! When we are not working or traveling, we spend a lot of our time at our cottage/farm in Mathews, VA, it's on the water, near the Chesapeake.
My brother, John Newswanger, is planning to open a restaurant and bar this fall, to be called "Newsy's Bar and Steak House", he'd doing this with Ray who owns Villanova Restaurant and Sports Bar on the Colombia Pike. It should be great, and hope to run into classmates when I get back to Lancaster.
