Christopher's Story
I stayed to my self, so I was not "popular" More or less blended in with the background. The high school years
were not that special to me, however I did meet some outstanding people..
After Reynolds, a short break, went back to school and got my Mechanical Engineering degree, and then got married too soon to the wrong person. I put them on waivers to give them their unconditional release. Turned out
to be very good decision. From that point just concentrated on my career, and worked for several years as a
manufacturing/Industrial Engineer at Fairchild Industries IPC. Then took an engineering position at Hanes Hosiery in
Bennettsville SC for several more years. Found the lady that I am still married to there. Moved back to W Salem and went to work for CoCa Cola. Worst job ever !! Got back in the engineering game at PPS Inc, was there for several years. ...Expand for more
Then I changed careers totally, and got in the Automotive Industry for a lot of years as Finance Director of some the
the top Dealers in the area, and was very successful and and retired in 2010.
I was very successful in engineering also, but I did not play well with others, ans was not a yes man. My style of management was if you don't want to know, don't ask. I was not telling people what they wanted to hear.
I have one son, 26 and two beautiful grandson's.
Have done a lot of things, and have a lot of interests. Am an avid reader, mainly Sci Fi, with over a thousand books in my personal library. I am a survivalist, and have a lot skills in that area, but not the nutty kind.
For some reason people think that I have a past life in the CIA or something to that effect, and I have no idea why they think that. Just a quick overview here. Maybe more later.
