Christopher's Story
After high school, I moved to Corvallis Oregon, hand-built a guitar and sheared Christmas trees to make a few bucks. A few years later I found myself in Boulder Colorado and earned a Bachelor's of Environmental Design with a minor in Solar Architecture. I married Mary Fisher from Potomac, and we had 2 children (Ben and Corinne) in 1981 and 1983. From 1984 to 1993 I ran my own Design and Build company in Kensington.
We divorced in 1993, and I remarried in 1995 to Mary Ann Lundy, and adopted her young son, Matt. We built a passive solar home for ourselves in Kensington in 1997/1998, and had another son, Tim in 1999.
I went back to school and earned a Masters from UMUC and shifted to IT Services. I worked as a government contractor as an IT, Management, Process,...Expand for more
and Security Consultant (Physical and Cyber) for EPA, USAID, NARA, the State Department, the DOD, NASA, FAA, and others. I am now the CIO for WSSC Water for Montgomery/PG County.
We live in the solar home we built in Kensington.
Ben lives in Bethesda, teaching athletics, Corinne is completing a Masters at Johns Hopkins and scaling the ranks at Mitre. She created 2 of the grandest daughters, one of whom is now a teen, and they also live in Kensington. Matt and his wife Sabrina moved to Colorado. Tim, who graduated from Walter Johnson in 2017, is at UMBC studying Bio-Chem and Molecular Biology.
I am defending my dissertation for a Doctorate in Cybersecurity this week (Feb 10-15 2020).
My father still lives in Bethesda and just turned 100, and is going strong.
