Christopher's Story
Life has been sweet to me this since departing the sacred halls of our mutual youth. I have many fond and vivid memories of the people and events that impacted me in those tender formative years. Many faces, some now gone have reached an iconic status with me, as I find myself often reminiscing of a place long ago and far away.
Some of those dear to me still visit me but only in the finite shadows of a blissful dream.
I'm fortunate to have forged several enduring friendships that last to this day. I lament the fact that I have lost touch with so many, but such is life.
As I mentioned in the first paragraph life has been sweet for such an under achiever as I. After NHS I goofed off for a year, went back to school. I walked on to the lax team and wound up with a scholarship and played lacrosse for University of Baltimore. In my junior year we ranked # 6 in the country ! Lax became a big part of my life and at 59 it still does. I owe a good portion of my career to my lacrosse contacts. I still play at 59, run a couple of club teams and help coach my twelve year old son.
Oh yes I forgot to mention and all important part of my life, my beautiful, beautiful,, beautiful, beautiful wife and son.
I didn't meet the love of my life until I was 33. She had just graduated from college and was 13 years my junior, but everything clicked. After we dated for 9 years we decided to make it permanent. We have recently celebrated our 16th anniversary. Our son is awesome and I have a blast being a Dad. It's easy for me as I've always ben a child at heart. He keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh all the time. I thank the almighty for them everyday.
I'd probably be in Key West turning hamburgers, playing the guitar and living from day to day.

es within the hospitality industry. I have been a commercial kitchen equipment consultant and contractor for over 20 years, and though I don't live in Beverly Hills I've done quite well, In fact far better than what I ever dreamed.
We live in an amazing community in the triangle of Monkton, Fallston and Jarrettsville. I love the pastoral land and the solitude of our hunt country. My son wants us to but him horse....I'm not so sure.
I'm still a fanatic when it comes to all things music, though my choice of genres has widened greatly. Those of you who remember me may recollect I was a basketball fanatic. I still play on occasion, but lax became my primary sport. I still like to push the envelope with exercise. It's fun to see how much this old body can take. I run, I lift, I bike, I swim. I relax meditate and do it all again.
Hey did I mention I had a brief stint in some films ? Well I did nothing big but some movies I'm sure you've seen.
Also earned some bucks modeling. Mostly run way, but with some print work as well. All fun stuff, and fun to talk about over a few beers.
Anyway it's late I'm tired of writing this Christmas card news letter. Should you happen to read this and want to say 'hi" I would love to hear from you ! Peace be with all of you and live well old friends. I hope some day, somewhere we will by chance or destiny meet once again.
"We are meant to be here. We step from one piece of holy ground to the next under stars that ask, "Imagine for one second you could drop in on a past life. What would charm you, make you feel proud ?" Ask yourself that question and the question of what to do in this life becomes so simple it's terrifying.
Just do that one thing that would charm you, that would make you say "Yes this the real me !" Do that and you're alive."
