Christopher's Story
Christopher's schools include Niles East High School. Well, those of you that knew me fairly well should remember that I was a Greaser, lol. Also, I was and still am, a big fan of hot rodding & motorcycles. Over the years, I've built many cars. Back in high school, my garage in Skokie was pretty famous. My friends & I worked on a lot of stuff there. After school, I went full time as a mechanic, until I woke up one day and realized that I did not enjoy working on cars for a living. I enjoyed it as a hobby, and to help out my friends, neighbors, etc. I then tried working in a factory. Well, that didn't last long. es, and the rest of the mechanicals of big rigs. I was hooked. I have been a tractor-trailer driver now for 44 years, and I still love what I do. As the saying goes, if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. So far, I'm not in a big hurry to retire, but when I do, I think I'll semi retire, (pun intended). I've talked with a few friends that have already retired, and several of them say don't do it, you'll be bored. Well, to each their own. I'll basically do what I want, just like I always have, hahaha. Soooooo, that's it for now. The rest is for another time, when I might talk one on one with those of you that just "have to know" what all I've been up to! I sincerely do hope you're all in good health, and that your lives are running somewhat smoothly, without too many bumps in the road. The door is always open. Stop in & say Hi!
