Christopher's Story
Life
I've been married since 1991 to my wife Teresa, and we have a son, Adam, born in 1995, and a daughter, Amanda, born in 1998. After I received my bachelor's degree in Geology from UC Santa Barbara in 1984, I did what comes naturally: I went into the film business. I was an assistant picture editor on films like Oceans of Fire (a movie of the week) and Night Game, then I became a sound FX editor on pictures like Shakes The Clown and Lionheart. I). In the 90's, I became a computer programmer, and in 2002 I returned to Geology and went to work at a hydrogeology consulting firm. I am working on an MS degree in Environmental Hydrogeology (the science of groundwater and aquifers) at Cal State LA. You can find me most Saturday mornings at Garfield Park in S. Pasadena, practicing with the South Pasadena T'ai Chi Club, and on Sundays I go to the local Buddhist temple in Hacienda Heights for dharma lessons and a vegetarian lunch.
