Life
Whats new with me? Well I just got back from Iraq in March of 05 and then got out of the Marine Corps in June. I'm now living in California until I finish nursing school and will probably move back to san antonio after that.
Military
Four days after I graduated high school I was on the yellow foot prints
at Marine Corps recruit depot san diego. After boot camp I went to MCT and from there to MP school at Ft. Leanardwood MI. The real fun started while I was stationed in Japan where I spent a year and change. When my tour was up in Japan ...Expand for more
I went to Miramar Air station in San Diego, Ca. On March 25, 04 a good friend of mine was killed in action in iraq... My unit sent me to his funeral as a representitive. I deployed to Iraq myself in Aug of 04 and On sept 29 2004 I was blown to shit by a roadside bomb that hit my vehicle (I wasn't really blown to shit just some new temp holes in my body). I got some medals for my actions in Iraq and came back home to get my ass out of the military and start the rest of my life. Don't get me wrong I love the marine corps, it was just time to move on.
