Christopher's Story
Have been living in Colorado for 37 years -- currently working in medical records at Presbyterian-St Luke's Hospital in Denver, but have been a registered investment adviser, a computer professional, and a college librarian. Graduated from IU Bloomington and ended up living in Terre Haute for about three years before moving to Denver.
I have one son, and he and his wife are expecting a son in July -- my first grandchild! My daughter-in-law is from China, so a group of us spent two weeks in China in conjunction with their wedding. I'm proud to say that I climbed the Great Wall of China at the age of 61 (our guide said they didn't recommend it for those over 50) -- a...Expand for more
nd made it to the top -- winded, tired, and with leg cramps on the way down -- but it was worth it. I figured that if the little old Chinese ladies could do it in heels and street shoes -- I could surely do it with my Addidas.
Many of you probably remember that I was heavily involved in music while at Northwest. I still have a piano, violin and viola, but I'm sorry to say that I had to downsize from a beautiful, large viola, to a smaller "student" model due to arthritis -- some parts of aging can present challenges . . .
Well, those are the highlights of my story, and I found it interesting seeing all your stories, Hope more of you add your stories to the website.
