Christopher's Story
Life
Wow, where to start? After High school I moved to Chicago where I went to college at the Illinois Institute of Technology and found myself inline skating on Oak St. Beach.
My summers of skating landed me a couple of commercials and some sponsorship, so... now I do it for fun. I give lessons on the weekends and perform with my friends for passers-by and tourists here on Oak Street. Its a great way to relax and have fun!!!
Most recently, I have become a member of Solomon Sports' Freestyle International Skate Team. The new season begins in the summer of 2001. The team travels world wide lending promotional support to such events as triathalons, freestyle competitions, sporting goods shows, etc.
As for work, despite my schooling in CAD engineering and Aerospace Engineering, I started working for Harris Bank and Bank of Montreal coordinating ...Expand for more
the Accounts Payable department. Its a job...and I like it(I feed on stress). As a side hobby in computers became a rather good webdesigner.
Currently, I work for Pulte Homes in Jacksonville, FL. I'm still in computers and am a System Administrator for an online construction scheduling application. I have also found I have a knack for business processes as well as being an software guru and close to my MS Office certifications. My latest upgrade was building a second tower to include in my home network. I have a third workstation currently in the works.
As for new in 2005, I'm rebuilding an old family boat to enjoy more time on the water.
Since the Alumni Board neglected my request for Reunion information, I missed out. Phil Askin was nice enough to pass along a photo and some information however. Thanks Phil. So, please feel free to contact me.
