Christopher's Story
Life
well, still in so. cal.
still playing music. new album due out in september 2005. visit my website for details. i'd post it, but they won't let me here.
got married in may to the most amazing woman on the planet (who just so happens to be much smarter than i) much to the surprise of most of my family and friends who thought it'd never happen. what can i say? i finally got lucky.
the other big surprise...i'm a high english school teacher! who'd-a thunk, eh?
living the american dream. house. wife. 3 kids. dogs. fish. the whole 9.
School
well, my memory in general is terrible. i would love for people to send any memories they have of times with me in school, etc. it kills me to have forgotten so many good times.
however, i do have bits and pieces of things.
football, was great, but physically damaging. drama was life-changing. had great times in rusich's choir senior year. the mini-parties at lunch freshman and sophomore year. how on earth did we pass geometry???
falling in love for the first time...as silly and adolescent as it...Expand for more
seems now. wow, how important it all seemed then.
College
hmmm. more theatre. more music. more girlfriends.
i think the most amazing thing about college is the fact that i didn't physically collapse. i overloaded every quarter i was at csusb. i spent 17+ hours a day there, working on plays and taking classes that i'd never use.
Workplace
wow, if ever there was a round about path to a career!.
let's see...
carl's jr (total of 4 whole days- not 16 yet)
the victorian broiler (restaurant)
harry c's (another restaurant)
magnone (yet, another restaurant)
prime sports (retail sports store owned by two former pro baseball players. good times there)
prints plus (incredibly over-priced frames in the new "galleria")
the wherehouse (yup, finally got into a record store gig)
csusb theatre scene shop foreman (lots of scars)
teaching (where i have been for the past 8 years)
Military
wouldn't have taken me if i'd have tried.
asthma and back problems.
oh well. i guess i'll just have to write their theme music instead.
