Christy's Story
Where to begin??? After college, I began teaching and I am still teaching. I have been married to my husband, Bill, for almost 39 years. Bill was a Navy officer and we moved a lot with that career, and corporate America has had a world of fun with him, too. We have lived a lot of places and I have loved every minute of the life we have had.
Bill and I have been blessed with two wonderful daughters, and eventually, I will post some pictures of them. The girls have both married wonderful young men who we love as if they were our own sons. They have brought us tremendous joy and a tremendous number of grandchildren. We have eight grandkids--the oldest is a boy and then there is a string of seven girls. Will, the oldest, has just given up! All eight of them really love each other and are very close and loads of fun to be aro...Expand for more

As I said, I have been teaching and am blessed with a wonderful job from which I will eventually retire. I teach in a very small Catholic Pre-k through grade 8 school. It is a high performing school whose students love God, love to please their teachers and love to do well in their work. This is more than most teachers can dream of. My faith is of utmost importance in my life, so I am truly blessed to be able to teach in a school where I can teach about God, but I can also talk about all the things one can not talk about in public school. I am so lucky.
