Christy's Story
I've done so many things since High School...Went to UTEP, got married, had 2 boys, stopped going to UTEP, got divoreced, went back to UTEP, graduated, started working for a radio station, there I met the man who took me to work to the best experience in my life. I worked for a Mexican band by the name of Tigres del Norte. I was their PR person, traveled, met so many people, got to see close hand what the life of those we see on TV is like, met some real good friends including the one who is now my husband. Stopped working for the band and came back to corporate America. unt manager in the gift card world for 9 years now. I handle major accounts such as The Gap Inc, Victoria's Secret, Liz Claiborne, American Airlines and the list goes on and on. Had another boy 14 years later and I thought I was crazy. But I was wrong, he has come to turn my world around! Now I'm starting to wean myself from my job as my husband needs me to run the family business. I'm not sure if I can do that, as I love what I do, but its hard working then coming home and helping with the books. So...now I will soon be a "stay at home mom" and will try to enjoy my 3 year old. I didn't have the opportunity to do that with my 19 and 17 year olds when they were growing up so I am looking forward to it.
