Christy's Story
Life
Life has been an adventure. After high school I attended Ricks college. I had great roommates and have nothing but good memories from my time there. I then served a mission for my church to the Peru, Lima North Mission. One of my companions was Ruth Peterson (AF '85). After returning home I attended Utah State University and graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Minor in Spanish. I met my future husband during this time. e job teaching first grade overseas in the United Arab Emirates, and loved it. I moved to Idaho the following year and over the next few years taught 4th grade and worked in the English Second Language program. I married Max Christensen in Sept. of 1994. We have 5 children ranging from 8 1/2 years to 6 months. My husband owns his own company and I am blessed to stay home with our little ones. We live on 40 acre farm in the country and have 7 horses, 2 donkeys, 1 cow, and a dog, Shadow. Life has been good to me. I am looking forward to the reunion this summer.
