Christy's Story

My wonderful husband Steve and I have been married 32 years as of October 18th. Steve had finished his stint in the Marines and was working as a Design Engineer when we met at work. I was lucky enough to be a stay at home mom for most of my kids lives. When I have worked I worked as an instructional aide at my kids school so I was off when they were off. I am currently enjoying all life has to offer. I am trying to decide what I want to do with the next chapter of my life now that the kids have grown and moved away. We have three wonderful kids, Kelly 29, David 28, and Brian 26 and SIX of the CUTEST Grandchildren I could ever hope for..... the loves of my life.... We moved to Kansas City,MO in 1995 for safer schools.(my brother Pete and his kids lived here already). Within the year my entire family, parents and three sisters and their families all moved here also. My dad passed away 3 days after Christm...Expand for more
as 1998 of a sudden heart attack. Our daughter Kelly Graduated College in 2005 and got married a week later to Adam our wonderful son in law. Kelly is a 2nd grade teacher and Adam is currently a full time student and temporary stay at home daddy he will graduate 2011 and will be a high school math teacher and coach. They have 2 boys Caden 5 ,Landen 4, and Anisten 1. My son David is still trying to find his niche in life so he has tried his hand in a little bit of everything, . He has three beautiful kids Hailey 6, Connor 5, and little Tanner 3. Brian lives with his girlfriend Sarah nearby. They work for the government making ammunition for the military. No grand kids from him yet but we are hoping....Just kidding he needs to get married first. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my husband, kids and grand kids they are my life......and travel of course. We love to cruise it's the best vacation EVER!
