Well folks, after graduating and going to Ohio State, I moved to Colorado. Became a cowboy, opened a restaurant, owned a ranch, started a high tech company, managed a couple of hotels in Aspen and started a software company. Still in Aspen area. Got married for the first time in 2001 to an absolutely beautiful person, Angelica. She was worth waiting 51 years just to find the right person. Angelica is originally from Manizales, Colombia, but now an American citizen. That was an ordeal. It took us 5 years for her to get her citizenship! (I think our immigration system in broke!). We travel a lot both domestically and internationally. Most recently to Barcelona, Spain and the Caribbean. Love going to new places, but getting there, as everyone knows, is really difficult (airports and airlines suck!). Angelica wants to go to London, Capetown and China in the future. I'm not sure about China but I'm sure we will enjoy it. I just don't like Chinese food. I guess I always will be a meat and potato guy. I love gormet cooking, but after owning a restaurant in Colorado Springs I will never do it for a living. Too much work, long hours and not enough money. But, I love cooking for friends and family. I've learned quite a few new recipes including San Cocho (Colombian) and a variety of Tapas (Spain). I especially love fresh seafood. Secret: There's a little restaurant on South Padre Island called "Dirty Al's" that serves up some of the best gulf shrimp and oysters that I've ever tasted. Not a fancy place, but a favorite with the locals. If any of you ever go to South Padre, be sure to go to Dirty Al's. I'd travel a thousand miles just to eat there! Life is good.
