Reynolds (Chuck)'s Story

Life… First the name thing, I was Charles "Chuck" Manson at Albemarle ... then the other Charlie Manson did his thing. The name became just a bit of a hassle. So I use my middle name and the old spelling of my last name. Reynolds Mansson ... Reyn for short. Have since 1975. I've done basically two things for the last 40 years ... motorcycles and advertising Motorcycles .. I've raced them, imported them, managed businesses, and owned race teams. Today my niche ad agency specializes in media, marketing, and events primarily for motorcycle-related clients. I am the editor of Ride Texas Magazine, an upscale travel magazine for motorcycle tourism. This s my second term with the magazine, I was their advertising director from 2000 to 2008. Advertising ... I went to work at my first agency in Portland, OR in '75. I've been on both sides, client, and agency, and worn several hats. On the land of Hype & Glory... loved it... media, publish custom guides for events, produce motorcycle events, and offer motorsports marketing consulting. Married once, divorced once, years ago in a land far, far away. No kids, I have lived mostly on the west coast since moving from Ch'ville to Oregon in '75 and on to California in '80. In 1997 I sold a business in Silicon Valley and moved to Texas. Live there for 14 years, moved to New Orleans in 2010, then to Delaware in 2014, and back to Texas in 2016. I'm in Dallas now, the Park Cities area if you are familiar with Dallas. I didn't graduate from AHS, I went to Lane my senior year. But I have a greater affinity for AHS where I spent 8th through 11th. So I consider this "my" high school.
