Chuck's Story
Life:
After many years of life's experiences, I now recognize I got a good education at SHS.
It helped me prepare for what has been a very enjoyable life for me.
I graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1976. I moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin after graduation from RPI.
I worked for two companies, Allen-Bradley and Schlitz Brewing, my first 3 years in Milwaukee. For the past 33 years I have worked for the same company, US Bank, most of that time as a cics systems programmer on the IBM mainframe.
My three main hobbies today are cross-country skiing, bicycling, and ballroom dancing. I have done some exotic solo bicycle trips through areas like Alaska and New Zealand. I have done a few ballroom competitions, but I am primarily concerned about improving my social dancer skills.

ortable dancing when travelling overseas: I have been to many countries over the past 15 years. China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, South Africa, Botswania, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Kingdom of Lesotho, Zambia, Eastern Europe:Czech, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, Turkey, Greece, most of Western Europe, most of Central America, Cuba, etc. I guess I could do all the travelling because I never got married or had children.
The peak of my cross-country skiing abilities was manifested by completing 2 (out of 3 attempts) American Birkenbeiner Ski races. It's 53km of up/down logging trails in northern Wisconsin.
I must be getting soft. I have been doing a lot of ocean cruises the past 5 years.
I am considering doing a cruise to Antarctica or a trans-Atlantic crossing. If interested in going along, contact me.
