Chuk's Story
Life I am a television professional. I have written, produced, directed, edited and managed nearly all aspects of local and national television programs. Upon leaving Western HS, I was accepted at Texas Christian University, Julliard, Boston University and North Carolina School of The Arts, where I accepted a dance scholarship. I eventually came to my senses at age 21. I questioned myself; "What would I do at age 35? Besides, this s--- hurts! Old ball players' knees and ankles feel like this, but they get paid!" e were divorced in the early '90's. I remarried in 2000 to Varinia (pictured above at our wedding in Tahiti). We've been together for 15 years, and have managed to create a very happy and successful life in the Maryland suburbs. We live with our menagerie: 2 akitas (Haiku & Yoko), 3 cats (Cleo, Tutt and Shaka the Insane), and 20 koi in a 4,000 gallon pond. It doesn't seem like 30 years since WESTERN HIGH.UPDATE: In August 2010, after a 5 year battle, I lost my wife Varinia to OVARIAN CANCER. It has been difficult, but I try to focus on the 17 phenomenal years that we shared, rather than the loss. A friend once told me, "You never get over the loss, in time, you become accustomed to not having the person in your life anymore, but you never get over the loss." He wasn't EVEN lying. Git wid me.I know that you've got a story as well. -Chuk
