I loved Mohawk Trail high school so much and when my parents decided to move to New Hampshire I was heart broken to leave this school. Although I loved living at Hampton Beach (summers were VERY fun & I made a lot of friends) I sure did miss Mohawk and all my friends that I had to leave behind. Mohawk will always hold a special place in my heart! I ended up moving to Tampa, getting married and having two beautiful boys. Now one of my boys goes to a prep school in Maine (to play ice hockey - hockey is not real big in Florida - I wasn't trying to get rid of him just to set the record straight..lol) so I travel a lot to New England for his school and his hockey and it makes me miss that area even more. Don't get me wrong I love Florida but I truly miss the changing of the seasons. Funny how I never appreciated the beauty that New England holds until I have left it!! I have worked for county in Tampa as a Software Specialist for 25 years! I hope, hope to retire after my 30 years and get a part time job where I don't have to think!! I do like computers but its the last thing I want to do after I put in my 30. I'm thinking a shoe store ! I DO have a passion for shoes LOL. I love Florida especially in the winter when its cold and snowy up north. I think my favorite is sitting on a white sandy beach with a good book in my hands list...Expand for more
