Cindi's Story
Wow...could 33 years have truly passed us all by? I hope you all have been living the journey well. I know I have. What a wonderful one it has been. So much living! I moved from Newbury Park to Reno Nevada shortly after High School. The years were full...I went to college, worked a lot of different jobs, got a real estate license, had two daughters...and became (finally!) a published author. I experienced a brain aneurysm in 1996 and almost died. Paramedics got me to the hospital in time to have surgery. Worst part was having my hair shaved off! valuate my life. I always wanted to be a writer and had written poems from a very young age. I realized that to live it is to live your dreams, so I began to write in all seriousness. Finally, my first novel was accepted and published! I now have three published and am working on my fourth, soon to be released. I had stint on the Oregon coast, where I owned a tackle/gift shop and a cafe. It was wonderful! What a colorful time in my life!
Now I have three grandchildren, all boys! They keep me busy for sure, and just last weekend we all met at the lake to ski/board etc. And YES! I got out there and showed them what "Nana" still has, LOL!
My life now is focused on healthy living, eating, working out, etc. I think the saddest part is how fast time has gone by...so I savor every single moment!
Ciao!!!!
