Cindy's Story
Hi Fellow Quakers
Well I can't believe we all turned 60 last year and I soon will have another birthday. They sure come sooner than they used to.
My husband Mike (20 years of wedded bliss) and I are Arizona snowbirds, we built our retirement home in Yuma in 2000. Mike retired two years ago from Boise Cascade but has found consulting jobs the last two summers so we kinda feel like gypsies traveling and living in our motorhome with our 11 year (German Shepherd Mix) dog "Kip". We are also the proud grandparents of five , ranging in age from five to 13.
We recently took the kids up to Mt. Tabor Park for a picnic, what a hoot for me, rememberin...Expand for more
g all the crazy things we did up there. A trip down memory lane for me, the kids liked the playground best.
Anyway I keep in touch with Linda Lu, Nanette, and Paula Barr on a regular basis, also has a nice chat with Linda Lorusso a few days ago. I work on the reunions every five years, missed the annual golf tournament this year because we were at the Round-up in Pendleton Oh, also I visited with Linda Andyke and Judy Carlson at Crooked River Ranch this summer. Old friends are so special, and women always have lots to talk about even if 40 years have gone by since our days at Franklin.
Hope all is well with everyone in the class of "65".
