Cindy's Story
UPDATE as of 3.12 Things are pretty much the same.. I've been married 41 years to Steve (Cooper Grad 68). We have one son, Eric, who is 36.
Our main past time is still dancing DANCING... which for those of you who knew me and remember me.. is the same thing I loved in High School. Steve and I go dancing EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND!! We like R&B, Disco, Funk... . Our favorite bands are Soul Tight Committee, R-Factor, Belladiva, CBO and High and Mighty to name a few. We frequent Santorinis, Minnesota Music Cafe, The Shorewood, Bunkers, and sometimes Medina. We took a few years of dance lessons... yet we like to free style as well.
We also have gotten into going out and JUST listening to live music. .
I love dogs and have always had one. Currently we have a yellow lab, (7 yrs) named Willow.
We are now very involved in politics we are concervative and not happy about what is currently going on. Willow, in our district 34A, (Maple Grove) is known as the Liberty Pup. She has marched in parades for Joyce Peppin ou...Expand for more
r State Rep and Kurt Zellers, who is currently the Majority leader, Jeff Johnson, Hennepin County Commissioner and Tom Emmer when he ran for Governor. She has attended other events with us as the Liberty Pup. We usually do the Roger's, Maple Grove, Hanover and Dayton Parades.
As of Jan, 2011, our son Eric has been diagnose with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Luckily it's stage I. He had been rhrough his chemo and radiation and is not considered in remission. He has scans now every 6 months.
We are also considering a move in the next few years.. our current lean is towards Austin TX. Better weather and they are known for their music.. whiich is a big part of our life. And for Steve, it's a state with no Federal Income tax..

I am on FaceBook and I also have a FB group called Party Rockers, where I try to keep others who love live musiic and dancing updated as to gigs. .I post them and many of our muscian friends post themselves. I also include videos of many of the bands that we dance too.
