Life
I've just begun taking my 6th year of Irish dancing. The "Riverdance" type. I'm a proud "cat mom". Yard work and gardening are my therapies--weather permitting. My mom suddenly passed away in 2001. Still wear glasses. Current hairstyle resembles Meg Ryan's.
Participated in a dance workshop with Colin Dunne Aug.2004.
This year (2005) I'm taking Irish and Swing...same night, back to back. I'M INSANE....... took another workshop with Colin summer 2006.....he remembered me from 2004!!! The studio clos...Expand for more
ed this year, so, I'm searching for somewhere else to go "toe hoppin'".
Retired from the State 8-2010. 37 years was plenty. still don't have a dance class.
5-2015 - signed up with Fred Astaire Dance Studio. going 3 nights a week and on Saturday afternoons. learning rumba, fox trot, salsa, swing, jitterbug, tango, cha cha, line dancing. completely different teaching techniques than what I'm used to. plus you have to dance with someone. but, at least, I'm dancing again. felt right at home when I walked in.
