Cindy's Story
Hey there Terrors! Yes its true - I am still married to Scott! We will celebrate 23 years this year! We run into people from the day and the first thing they say is WOW you two are still together! We have an alum of Wasson in our son Scott (how did we let that happen) and now our daughter Sarah is a junior at Palmer. Its fun to see Sarah live the life of a Palmer Terror. Although they have a very modern commons and you have to have an ID to walk in the Weber Street doors, the school is the same in alot of ways. She gets a kick out of seeing her dads name on a basketball final 4 trophy in the gigantic trophy cases. Sarah is an amazing dancer spending almost all her time dancing - really almost 15 hours a week (tap and lyrical are her specialties) -no cheerleading or basketball for her! She competes this summer (2009) in Branson Missouri in a National Dance Competition. Her and Scott do the most precious Dad/Daughter dance - makes me cry every time! Son Scott is loving life living in his great grandmothers house on our 140 acre property raising a couple of horses, few dogs, cats, goats, cows.... I swear that he would have been Noah back in the day! He has a great life working at King Soopers and being a pseudo rancher :)He has a lovely girl Amanda that he has been see...Expand for more
ing for awhile now - taking it slow is his motto. He is such a great guy and we are proud of what a wonderful man he is becoming. Scott got his Masters Degree from Regis University almost 15 years ago and has worked for Hewlett Packard for 18 years now as an IT project manager. He has traveled to Spain, Costa Rica, Brazil getting to see lots of exotic things - and bring me nice presents! Spanish Cava (champagne)and beautiful gold from Costa Rica some of my favorites! I worked for HP for almost 8 years, doing lots of traveling myself - San Jose CA, Houston, (wowee) and the exotic Bangalore India. It was an unforgettable two weeks. You will never know how well off you are until you see the sites I saw there. I was laid off from HP in June of 2006 and took some time off until a company came calling me for a position as a Call Center manager for a rapidly growing radiology utilization management company. Its very exciting to manage people and be able to influence the way health care is viewed. We live in the old neighborhood off Fillmore (just south of Omelette Parlor!) and fondly remember Godfathers Pizza and Just One :) Life is good and its good to be alive! Drop a note Class of 84 OR 85 and let us know how you are!! We think of you often and wonder how you are doing!
