Ahh - "Temple City, We love thee . . . " I remember high school as a great time, with wonderful people. For me, Temple City was an ideal place to grow up. The San Gabriel Valley sure was a different place then. I remember going to parties from Pasadena to Arroyo HS on the weekends, and frequent drives out to the beaches. Education After high school, I'd been accepted to UCLA, but deferred admission for 2 years so I could get the first half of college for free at PCC. (Remember when that was free!?!?) Then I finished up my Bachelor's degree at UCLA, taking a leisurely 3 years, since I was also working, getting married and buying a first house at the same time. Career Now this is a short paragraph! During high school, and all through college, I worked part-time at Fedco - remember that store, on Colorado Blvd?? After graduating from college, I worked for one year managing a decorating business in Camarillo. My career was happily over the day my first child was born. Ever since, I've been working salary-free as a mom, wife, philanthropist, and all the usual things. Family My true joy!
