Cindy's Story
I am a widow for 2 years with two beautiful children and 4 absolutely gorgeous grandchildren, the oldest will be 10 on May 12. She was my birthday present. Married 3 times. 1st time, age 17. The only good thing from that was my son, Scott. Terrible divorce. Married 2nd time in 1978 to wonderful man who worked hard and we had our beautiful daughter, Amanda. We divorced in 1999, before our 22nd anniversary. I love him today and always will, but, he was a traveling man and never home. Divorce was very easy and what we both wanted. He passed in Feb 2002. After deciding I was meant to be alone, i met my soulmate, Mike. We married, April 14, 2001, but unfortunately, he passed on April 18, 2008. I have owned/co-owned 5 businesses. lled at Washburn University, Topeka, Kansas and should graduate with Bachelors by Spring, 2012. It's never too late to learn. My grandchildren are beautiful. Aneska, soon to be age 10, Eden age 8 (they are 18 months apart), Dominic age 4 and Deaglan, age 13 months. All are good, loving children. Hey, I'm the grandma, I'm allowed to say that. Life has been a struggle, but, also a very interesting journey. I used to wallow in all my regrets, but, now, I know God gives us those trials to make us better people. Just wish he hadn't given me the trial of losing Mike. I miss him so much, but am now getting out and living again. I am even dating again. A good man who has known my husband since Mike was a child. Life goes on and so will I for as long as God decides I need to be here. Will add picture after next weekend. Can't put picture of me without my babies in it.
