Cindy's Story

Life It has been a strange journey for me. I was married for 17 years until my husband died of colon cancer in 1995. We had been fans of horse racing and I started travelling to big races alone and got more involved in the online world of horse racing. In 1996 I came to Canada for the Breeders' Cup (superbowl of horse racing) and I met the man who eventually became my second husband. moved to Canada. I had started a horse racing website in 1994 and when I moved I turned it into my full time business. I used to do computer system administration and now I am an internet journalist and racing photographer. In 2004 I won the Eclipse Award for best racing photograph in North America for the year. 10 years ago I would have said you were insane if you told me where I would be today and that I would be an Eclipse Award winner!
