Life
Hello to all...
Twenty years ago I thought that I would be in California making a million dollars and living it up...
As it turned out, I stayed and met and married a great man. We have a 13 yr old son, Sidney, that we homeschool.
I am currently a dental assistant and really like the field. It is not what I envisioned myself doing but, life has a funny way of making up your mind for you.
School
After graduating from N-W I went to NCCC and obtained a degree in Comm/Media Arts. I was a lay-out editor for the NCCC Sp...Expand for more
irit newspaper for 3 semesters and loved it. However... I couldn't get a job. I then tried to go back for another degree but never finished.
I don't use my degree today for anything but to collect dust. It's a shame, but I did enjoy my time at NCCC.
College
I graduated from NCCC in '86 with an Associates Degree in Communications/Journalism.
I found out that my intentions to enter this field were not the same when I graduated... therefore I chose to do something else.
Took a dental assisting course at NCCC and that is what I am...
