Cindy's Story
Life
After graduating from ZHS in 1985, I moved to Columbus with my fiance (now Husband) David, and lived there for the next 18 years. We were married at Franklin Park Conservatory (out on the grounds in the middle of July-all of the guests managed to survive!)in 1987. We have 2 boys...our first was born in 1993 and our second was born in 1999. It's still hard to believe that our firstborn is starting High School this Fall (2007)! In 2003 we moved back closer to our hometown (Z-ville). I still keep in touch with Ronn Rickett from ZHS and just recently got back in touch with Kathy (Watts) Mobley from Maysville. I would love to hear from more people I went to school with between West M, Maysville and ZHS. Murray Mercer...where are you??
School
I graduated in 1985 from ZHS but I was only there Senior year. Freshman year I went to West M., Sophmore and Junior years I went to Maysville. Prior to those years I went to various Elementary and middle schools in the area, plus I went to school in Columbus too. I'm so happy that my kids have been in the same school district! It was always tough being the new kid!
College

Workplace
My very first job was at Rax in Zanesville on Maple Ave. back in 1984/85. My most memorable moments there were passing out from extreme stress on the front cash register with a line out the door and then another time getting my big toe broke by some guy I went to school with at ZHS who was throwing the meat slicer guard up in the air and missed to catch it-it landed on my toe! This happened about 2 weeks before graduation!
From there, after moving to Columbus, I worked at a Supper Club called the Aspen Inn-I was the dinner hostess. I loved that job! Then, I worked at a health food restaurant called the Hip Pocket (Ronn worked there with me too)where I was a waitress. Here, I fell in love with bean sprouts, tofu and carob pie!! After that, I worked at GD Ritzy's (Ronn worked here too briefly). The After that I started working in retail for the next several years then I took a few years off to be a SAHM.
Avon was my next endeavor after moving back home. I became a top seller and eventually the Administrative Asst. for my District. Currently, I'm a Full Time Realtor with Lepi & Associates-contact me today to buy or sell your home! Find me on FB (Cindy Jacobs).
