Cindy's Story
Life
I had lived in the same neighborhood for 15 years, but when I was in the 10th grade my father got a promotion that required our family to move to the DC area. I was quite despondent over it at the time, but I grew out of it and came to love it here. Fortunately, I also grew out of my habit of staring out the window of my classroom and became a rather good student, eventually graduating from James Madison University. Any of you who were ever in a math class with me might find it extremely funny to hear that Accounting ended up being my chosen profession. Hah! Lately, though, accounting has seemed as boring to me as it must sound to you and IÂm trying to get into something more creative like graphic design.

ort of artsy project or painting, travelling, shopping, or kickboxing (although IÂm about to switch to Jujitsu where I can earn belts). Some of my most interesting experiences include the time I got 2 speeding tickets in one day, a brush with the Russian Mafia when I was in Moscow, and the time a famous political figure was hitting on me at Clydes. There are more stories; life is seldom dull for very long.
On a side note: I live quite close to the Pentagon, and I usually catch the subway there to my downtown office. I was extremely lucky on September 11 that, instead of my normal commute, I took a cab that day to a conference I was supposed to attend. I wish with all my heart that the thousands of others who perished that day had been as fortunate. My thoughts are with them always.
