Cindy's Story
Life after high school. It's been an adventure. I earned a B.A. from UNLV. First job out of college was working for America West Airlines (I didn't know what else to do and thought the travel benefits would be a hoot). When I was 25, I joined the Navy to become a Russian linguist. Eventually I earned my commission as an officer and traded my dungarees for khaki. I spent eight years on active duty, serving in Japan, Cuba, Hawaii, and several duty stations within the continental U.S. I eventually left active duty and moved to Arizona in 1998. Today I am still working for the Army, although as a contractor now. I also have an amazing daughter (born 2003),. We have three dogs, two horses, two birds, a hamster... and she just added a rat to the collection! Oy! With retirement just around the corner, after having already traveled to nearly three dozen countries (work and pleasure), I've decided the next step will be to explore the United States in a motor home and write more novels. Oh yeah.... I already have one out there.
