Cindy's Story

I grew up in Roebuck Plaza. My mom is Linda Grissom Jones and my dad is Sid Jones. My brothers are Michael (Hewitt 77), Kenny (Hewitt 78) and Dennis (Banks class of 87). My brother Kenny married Jan Griffin (Hewitt 81). I went to Hewitt from 1st thru 10th grades. I went to Banks High School for 11th, 12th and graduated in 84. I was quiet in school and tried not to draw allot of attention to myself - I guess I was kind of a loner. After graduation I went to work instead of college. wo boys (now 16 and 12) and divorced at 31. I have been happily married for 8 years to Doug King (from Warrior, class of 94, [yes he is younger than me]). I have an 11 year old step-daughter in Marion, Kentucky; but we currently don't have any communitcation with her because her mom is "not nice" [if you know what I mean]. We live in Trussville and I am a stay at home mom. I am currently taking care of my dad because he suffered a small stroke in June 2008 - he is doing great. I enjoy my family and friends. I enjoy being involved in my sons' activities - basketball, soccer and scouts, and whatever else they venture into. I seldom see old classmates but would like to get back in touch.
