Cindy's Story
Life has been full of ups and downs since I walked that platform nearly 35 years ago. What a beautiful day it was, as I remember. People have come and gone in my life, friends have died, precious family (parents) have gone on, children have enriched me, my husband loves and supports me. I've lived, of course in Cumberland, Lincoln, Woonsocket and Burriville; Connecticut and Florida. Cumberland is home, though. ts being created out of a field and the "Transition Building" being opened as our 9th grade - the year, by the way, that girls were first allowed to wear pants - no jeans, though! Unbelievable!!!!!
Now my own sons are in their thirties having lived their own school careers at Lincoln HS.
I've gone on to get my Master's Degree in Social Work, live part time here and part time in Florida.
I ride a motorcycle - HD Heritage Softail Classic! Who would have thought. (I remember taking a ride on Bobby Lasalle's bike to the beach! - being scared to death!)
All in all, Life is Good! Life is real Good!
