Cindy's Story
After graduation, the very next day, we moved from McCamey to Dalhart. I went to work in Taos, NM for the summer and attended college that fall in San Antonio.
I have lived in San Antonio,Dallas, Dalhart, Texline, Paducah, TX not KY, Lone Star, Andrews, back to Dalhart and now to North Platte, NE.
I have taught school, primarily special needs students, married more than once and mothered one child.
My current husband and I have been married 30 years this year. Our son was born in 1982 and passed from this life in 1998 from the ef...Expand for more

In 1997, I finished seminary in Dallas and we moved to Andrews. That next summer, we lost John Arthur, my job and a place to live.
We moved to Dalhart to help my mom with my dad who had suffered from a stroke and I again taught school.
In March 2007, I accepted the call to pastor the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in North Platte, Nebraska.
It seems such a long time since I have seen any of you - wow, 40 years. We must have changed a great deal and yet I would venture to say probably not much.
