Cindy's Story
Look for me on facebook, I love to catch up with my old classmates. I think of my classmates often. There is a 1984 L-D HS reunion page at LeeDavisReunions dot com. My email CindyMcNeal at gmail dot com. To my close friends Timmy Ta, Chris Ho, Terry Ga, Becky Co, Tammy & Michelle Di, Charlene Renee Oy, (the whole Ford family ... really... my adopted family Grandma & Grandpa Ford, Charlene, Aunt Patsy, Uncle Johnny), Alan Va, Kevin Ja, Dale Cu, Wayne Mo & all of the Arby's crew, Erik & Mark Ho, Stacy Mc, Wendy Sc, I know I'm leaving out someone, you were such good friends to me. I would love to email with you or talk to you. The teachers that had a special impact on my life, Mr James H Valentine & the dearly departed Mr Balducci at Stonewall. Mr Dan K Murphy the Asst Principal at Lee-Davis. At the risk of being terribly sappy. You all helped me thru a disfunctional adolescence. Having a father that pretty much hates your existence sure didn't do much for an adolescent girl's self esteem. My friends gave me strength. John Me Henrico HS Treehouse Apts where did you go? I didn't know you in school, but you were one of my very best friends & you are still very dear to me.

To Mark Ho, class of 1983, answering your story here on classmates, yes I DO remember that night that you drove us home from the concert through Churchill in REVERSE because the Yellow Submarine wouldn't go into drive. It wasn't Van Halen, it was the Black Sabbath concert, the Mob Rules tour at the Richmond Coliseum, December 6, 1981. I still have the ticket stub in my keepsakes with all of your names written on it. I remember that Terry Ga mom had to come get us girl-riders and take us home after we made our way to Rt 360. LOL
There are so many funny stories that made school a lot of fun. Lee-Davis football games on Friday night, did we ever watch a single game? Or did we just use it as an excuse hang out together? Going to THE TREEHOUSE, riding mini bikes, walking for hours with no place to go, Shalom Baptist Church youth group, concerts of our favorite bands, the State Fair, Regency Square or just hanging out at home watching TV. We made our own fun.
I hope that you all remember me as fondly as I remember you. I hope that life has brought you the life and happiness that you dreamed of. Don't forget to see all of our 1984 classmates listed on LeeDavisReunions dot com.
