I haven't lived in Streetsboro for almost 20 years. I lived in Hudson for 10 years with my ex-husband, George Leacock, who has since passed away. My husband, Rob, and I lived in Michigan for about 8 months, then we moved here to Pa. I'm within a mile of the Ohio state line. I graduated from nursing school 12 years ago. Four years ago, I became extremely ill and almost died. They found I have a very rare blood disease, (almost like a cancer),but for now, it's in remission thanks to a special injection I get twice a week, so I had to take early retirement. My husband is wonderful. We have been married almost 18 years. My daughter has always called him dad and he has always introduced her as his daughter. They are very close. He has worked in the funeral industry in some form or another throughout our marriage. When people would find out what he did for a living, they would be fascinated with his stories, so I told him he should write a book. He did and it was published.
