Cindy's Story
People may remember me from playing sports or cheerleading. I would hope people remember me as fun and friendly. Here is my story after leaving Rochester Adams High School in 1980:
I went to Western MI in Kalamazoo and graduated there. Then Nestle hired me as a sales rep in the Kalamazoo area. That's where I met my husband. We've known each other for 31 years and have been married for 27 years. Nestle promoted me through the ranks and lead us to TX. It was nice to leave the grey winters. I have 2 step sons and we have one daughter. Its good we didn't have any more kids because she has made our lives hectic. 26 now and she has been a "model, actress, singer/songwriter" ever since she was 4 years old. singing the national anthem at 10. We've met people from Emmitt Smith, Jerry Jones, Dirk Knowitzki, David Robinson, Mike Madanno, Nick Cannon and so many more. As she got older she continued her endeavors in the entertainment field which keeps her life very busy. My oldest stepson had his first little boy Daven, who is now 1 yeah! My other stepson still lives in Kalamazoo and he has our oldest grandson who is now 13 and is 6' tall with a size 12 shoe! I have had health issues for years and went on disability in 2000. In 2012 I had a stroke and left my right side nearly paralyzed. It took months of hard work and I'm happy to say that I can use my right side with roughly 90% of what I had. The residual affects from the stroke are mostly cognitive and memory issues. I call them "stroke farts" lol. My mind isn't what it used to be when I was working but I'm fortunate. My motto is "use it or you loose it" when it comes to your mind and body.
