Cindy's Story
Life
I still live in Las Vegas. I graduated with the class of "75" as a junior. After High School moved around and was in New York for awhile then came back to Vegas. Started my own business, closed that, and tried to take life easy. I just got plain bored with nothing to do. Twenty-seven was just way to young to retire. I have been married twice and have no children. My first husband is deseased and the second one was a huge mistake on my part... I still to this day do not know why I married him or what I must have been thinking...
Currently, I am single and have been dating the same man for the past twelve years. Not sure if it will ever lead to marriage but I am happy with the relationship. At this time in my life that is all that I am able to handle.
The true loves of my life are my three nephews... The oldest which is 22 and actually lives with me. My twin boys, who are now 9, live in Calif. They really are a handful and keep me always on my toes. I spend alot of time traveling back and fourth visiting them. Spare time these days is just not one item that I seem to have much of. With taking care of ageing parents, both with disabilities, and keeping up with the kids. Add on to that trying to...Expand for more
work and there just is no extra time... These days my family is truly my purpose in life...and I wouldn't have it any other way...
At this time I am looking forward to some kind of a change in employment and plannig for my retirement... To tell the truth I don't think I will be ever able to retire just because I am the type of person who always has to be busy and have something to do...
We just recently had our 30th class reunion over the Labor Day weekend (2005) in which I had the opportunity to see many lost friends that I have so dearly missed over the past thirty years... I must say that I am very impressed with how wonderful so many of you turned out. What a great group of people!!! Many of you are such wonderful parents and some of you are even grandparents!!! All of you have truly earned my respect...
I am looking forward to seeing even more of you at our 35th class reunion... (Labor Day weekend 2010). I don't know where the time has gone but is sure is going by fast...I really had a great time at this last reunion and do look forward to seeing all of you again...Till then God Bless all of you..
