Cindy's Story
Life
After school was out and the opportunity to get married didn't present itself immediately (my goal was to get married and have kids!), I went to Texas and went into a Mission Program spending a year and a half in Sydney, Australia. Afterwards I moved to Seattle and met my husband. We've been married almost 16 years. No children of our own, but have had a few college students living with us. Currently my brothers two boys live with us and we went from no children to two teenagers. They are good kids and we are happy to have them. Parenting seemed like it would be more fun though! My husband and I have worked with teens in our church for about 14 years. Mostly we just work and try to be involved in whatever we can at the high school.

lf way through the 8-10 month process of adopting two beautiful girls from Russia. We are waiting for our first travel date in the next few weeks. Then we will go to meet them. After that we will wait 4-12 weeks for a court date to go back and get them. We are so excited. Daria is 11 and Valeria is 9. They are currently living in an orphanage in Eastern Russia. They are beautiful girls.
March - 2006
We have had our beautiful daughters, Dasha (13) and Lera (11) for two years now. They are adjusting to American life really well. They learned English so quickly that we were just amazed. They struggle a little in school, but are picking up things so fast. We are so proud of them. If anyone is interested in adoption - especially foreign - I'd love to chat with you.
