Cindy's Story
Before I went to Highland I spent 6 years at RR, 6th grade thru 10th. I loved River and hated to move. I feel a connection to River and would love to be able to see some of my old friends again. I was new in my jr year, always hard ,but made some good friends. Angie, Patty, Sue, Linda, Mark, Barb to just name a few. Married Arch Bailey in '66, 1 mo out of school!? Had 2 children, Skip and Joey, and now have three grandchildren Lily and Chelsea, and Addy. Went back to work out of necessity at 59. Worked at Petsmart and On Your Toes Dance Studio, for Joey, who is the owner! Now I work for Joey, my daughter, full time at the studio and love it! I get to see my granddaughters all the time and am good friends with a lot of the parents. Skip is married to Ashley Jones and I'm thrilled. He is doing very well down in Fl where he designs and builds jumps for major horse shows. He also designs courses for the shows and...Expand for more
runs the crew to put everything together. He likes his job although very demanding and I am so happy he is finally using his talents in art.! More grandchildren I hope! Arch is retired from FAA, where he was an Air Traffic Controller, long story. Skip is going to cycle across US in Aug for Parkinson's Disease, because Arch has been diagnosed with it...He will be going by himself, it will take 2 mos, I am very proud of him. We're going for $20,000, please help us and pass the word. That was 2 years ago. He did finish his trip in 42 days traveling 4280 miles across the US and he did raise just over 20,000 dollar for PD.
