Cindy's Story
Life
Life is good. I have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy, and a wonderful husband. I am blessed to be a "stay at home mom" - though I would have to say I am rarely home. I am a volunteer at my children's elementary school, on the PTA Board, a Co Leader for my daughter's Brownie Troop and have been a Team Mom for Soccer and Softball for my daughter's teams.
I earned my B.S. in Agriculture Business at Cal Poly, S.L.O., and went on to spend over 10 years as an accountant and/or accounting manager. I enjoyed my time working in the corporate world,...Expand for more
and was lucky enough to meet my husband while working at Ralphs Grocery Company (prior to all the mergers).
It is great to be "back home" in San Diego (East County).
School
My biggest crush??? He knows who he was.... The teacher that inspired me most was Mr. Walker (Ag. Dept.). He truly helped me to go further in life and to obtain my college degree. Some of my greatest times were with my Ag. friends and my twin brother, Chuck. Oat Hay fields, the Ivanhoe Ranch oat hay projects, the East County Fair and the Del Mar Fair have lasting memories for me.
