Cindy's Story
2017 - We still live in the OKC metro, barely in the city limits. We've got 5 acres in the country but plan to move soon to another part of the state and live off-grid (not hooked to water or power grid, but we'll still have water and power) and be as self-sufficient as possible. We'll have more animals and a huge garden, etc.
Our youngest is 4, oldest is almost 17 (in May) with 4 in between them. Hubby has been at Hobby Lobby (where we met) for over 20 years now.
That's really about it. We're crunchy, weird (compared to mainstream *anything*) and have changed our "religious" beliefs a lot over the years .We still follow the bible, as it ...Expand for more
is our foundation and final authority on all things, but since we don't really fit into any particular category, we just say "we follow the bible", or sometimes "Scripturalist" is the only thing that makes sense. We don't claim to understand it all (not even close!!!), but when we find err in our beliefs, understanding or practices, we change. If you want to put us into some kind of category, we'd fall somewhere between christianity and messianics, but we don't call ourselves either. We DO keep the feast days, Sabbath, dietary laws, etc. I won't go into it any further, but I'm happy to share with anyone who is curious and wants to ask. :)
