Cindy's Story
Life
Following HS I went to OSU for three years. Met my husband while there and got married at the end of my Junior year. Spent the next 3 years in Germany. Returned to the SF Bay area and went back to College at SF State and graduated in 1981. In 1984, I was hired as a Correctional Officer at San Quentin State Prison. In 1986, I became a Parole Agent and worked the Richmond/Oakland areas. In 1992, I divorced my first husband and in 1996, I married and Australian. accepted a position with the Board of Prison Terms as a Senior Investigator. I am currently investigating Pardon requests, and woman who are in prison for murdering their husbands or boyfriends and are now claiming they were battered woman and suffer from Battered Woman Syndrome. I am still living in the SF Bay area and loving it. My hobbies include, Snow and Water Skiing, Camping, Jet Skiing, Country Western dancing and relaxing by our pool.
