Cindy's Story
Life
After graduating from FHS, I attended Mizzou for four years. David and I dated throughout that time and when we graduated from Mizzoui, we got married. I taught music at Ashland while David wento to medical school at Mizzou. In 1981, we moved to Lexington, KY where David did his general surgery and plastic surgery residency. During that time our two children, Christopher and Jennifer were born. In 1987, we moved to Huntsville, AL where David joined a two man plastic surgery group. I continued to be a mom. David separated from the group practice in 1989 and is still practicing as a solo plastic surgeon. Our son is now a college graduate from Georgia Tech and is attending Rice University working on a PhD in bio-engineerin...Expand for more
g. Our daughter is in her last year at Duke University and is interviewing at medical school programs.
I am currently very active with my music. I sing in the Chancel choir and the women's chorus at my church. I also direct a children's choir at my church. I am the president of the Huntsville Music Study club, direct the choir for that organization and also publish the newsletter for HMSC.
I have a new hobby. David gave me a mac computer with garage band and I have been having a great time recording cds. Currently, I have recorded some nice arrangements of hymns and Christmas songs. I have also made rehearsal cds for my various choirs to use.
We have two pets--Sarah, a 13 year old beagle and Ribbons, a 12 year old tabby.
